los-zoplotes

After seeing the “La Cridà” we went for Mexican food at “Los Zopilotes” in el Carmen. It was not very crowded but that’s probably because we haven’t adjusted to the Spanish eating hours. At 8:30pm, we probably beat the dinner rush by 2 hours.

The first thing we noticed was the somewhat unpleasant smell of sewage, but we decided to sit down anyway, and are glad we did. The service was young and fun, and the food was delicious — authentic “Mexican”.

The margaritas were great but too small, and gone way too fast:

Nachos to start off:

I had enchiladas:

And Mike had tacos del mexicano (or something like that):

Both dishes were spicy, which we liked.

It was a good night out and the final bill was €35 for both of us.
