Menú del Día: Cafetería Trovados

We try to have a Menú del Día at least once a week. It’s really the best deal you can get in terms of eating out.

This time we walked randomly around Marcado de Colón and found "Cafetería Trovados" which offered a huge selection of different plates for just 8 Euros per person including 2 glasses of wine for each.

The food was very good and the service was charming as well. Most seating is inside but they do offer 3 or 4 tables outside. So come right at 2 pm, so that you can have a choice.

Mike had Arroz Milanese and I had the Macarrones Gratén — both very yummy!

Second Plates:

Emperador Plancha - which is some kind of fish. Does anyone know what kind?

And above you see scrambled garlic eggs with asparagus.

There is no better way to spend an afternoon.
