On Monday, we scaled the Micalet’s 60 meters & 207 stairs to get a beautiful bird’s eye view of the old city (location)

La Plaza de la Virgen

It cost €2 to access the stairs, which is probably less than what you pay for a similar workout at your local fitness studio. Mercifully, the wind from above was strong enough to blow my sweat dry.

From the top of the tower, you will enjoy the best view in Valencia. Wonderful. If you’d like to check out the surroundings yourself but can’t be bothered to climb so many stairs, feel free to click on the thumbnails for much larger versions. These pictures were taken with a small camera by non-professionals (no offense, Daniella!)… Once Juergen climbs the stairs, we’ll add more pics.
