Everyone else was on vacation. But it was kind of nice. Yes many stores, restaurants and bars close but apparently it's not like it used to be so you can still buy bread and have a beer. It was fun going out in the morning and hearing Italian not Spanish. Poor tourists were wandering around wondering where everyone was. Heat was only bad a few days when the winds came off the land not the sea. That being said we are flying to Stockholm on July 31st this year. Last August we were the only people in our 7 unit building. Everyone else was on vacation. But it was kind of nice.
