One of the many highlights on the final day of Fallas is the Cabalgata del Fuego, a parade heralding the coming of the cremà.
The “parade of fire” has only been resurrected in recent years, so it doesn’t have the decades of tradition that accompanies the rest of Fallas’ events. Still, thousands of people lined Calle Colón and the Puerta del Mar in order to see this short, colorful and occasionally frightening parade, which concludes with an intense and loud display of firecrackers.
