Bed and Breakfast: B&B Mare de Deu – Canovas

This is the second bed and breakfast we are highlighting on Hola Valencia. This B&B (location on our Valencia Map) has a clean and new feel, similar to the B&B ABC and it is also in the same neighborhood.

If you are traveling alone the Mare de Deu is the one to chose since they offer single rooms from only €25.55 a night, including breakfast.

Some of the surroundings highlights are Mercado Colón with its breathtaking architecture, bars, cafés and restaurants, which are great for people watching. And one of our favorite tapas bars, El Albero, is right around the corner. The Turia riverbed park is just across the street, where you can find the Palau de Musica with its water fountain.

Within a 20 minute walk, you’ll find Parterre Park with its giant strangler tree – the Colegio del Patriarca – Marquis de Dos Aguas – and the Plaza de la Reina with the city cathedral.

B&B Mare de Deu – Canovas is a brand new 3-star bed & breakfast located in one of the most exclusive areas of Valencia with a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants on its doorstep. This is a great place to experience Valencia’s night life and a fantastic location for the city’s most famous public celebration – Las Fallas! Just a few metres away you will find Gran Via Marques del Turia and Calle Colon, two of Valencia’s main streets. The Turia Gardens is an attractive green area with pretty bridges and plenty of shady areas with benches where you can enjoy a quiet break from the city. Colon Market also takes place nearby.

This B&B is located in a building with a lift and has five pristine rooms, including two singles with a shared bathroom, a double with a shared bathroom and two other doubles with private bathrooms. All of the rooms are spotlessly clean, modern and functional. They all feature brand new furniture, quality mattresses, wardrobes, a coffee table and armchairs. Fans and heating are available and a TV, hair dryer, wi-fi Internet access and a CD player are also available in each of the guest rooms. Breakfast is included in the price of the accommodation. There is a kitchen with cupboards and a fridge where you can store your food although cooking is not allowed.
