Today’s mascletà was staged by Crespo de Alzira who, according to the newspaper Levante, are specialists in a special technique called the “Infernal Spider”. Though it’s hard to say for sure, we’d guess that this gnarly-sounding technique occurred at the beginning of the show. The mascletà today seemed over more quickly than most.
