Situated in the same neighborhood as the all-conquering monument of Nou Campanar, things were always going to be tough for little L’Antiga.
Unable to match its neighbor in size or cost, L’Antiga de Campanar decided to go for humor, providing us a funny look at a car loaded with idiot tourists, invading a variety of countries. The Eiffel Tower, Switzerland, and low-cost airlines all make an appearance. But despite a spirited effort, L’Antiga only managed to reach 12th place. Still: a slight improvement on 2008.
We enjoyed this Falla quite a big, though we treated it like an appetizer before the main course of Nou Campanar, as probably most of its visitors do.
