Today’s mascletà was full of screeching Roman Candles — the specialty of Pirofantasía Carlos Caballer, who put on the show. It had a surprising ending… catching the crowd off guard with a delayed, final volley. We were closer today than usual, which made the mascletà seem all the more intense!
